Update of weatronic receivers - Please note that we strongly recommend that you always keep your receivers to the latest firmware versions. Only the latest version is recommend and fully tested by weatronic. Never combine and use different versions at the radio and your receiver.

Since the software Version 6.07 the BAT radio is able to make the update of your weatronic receiver. So you will never have to use a computer to keep your receivers up-to-date. The latest receiver firmware version are already stored at the internal receiver firmware folder. Of course you can add other firmware version to this folder. So for example you could add the receiver firmware versions for the transmitter module. Another words the former GigaUpdate software is completely included inside your BAT radio now.

To update the Gizmo receiver please use the file manager in your BAT radio to copy the firmware on the Micro-SD card of the Gizmo.

	NOTE: To update your weatronic receiver (except Gizmo) you have to plug the weatronic update cable (WEA37911) to one of the 2 USB ports of your BAT radio.

The cable has 2 standard servo connectors.

• The 3 wire cable is the data cable which is always plugged to the SCU port of the receiver. Please consider that the black wire goes to the "S" pin, and the yellow wire goes to the "U" pin.
• The 1 wire cable is the positive power cable which can be plugged to any Update RX

You can choose at the Receiver Type between the automatic recognition(Auto) or you select the type by yourself.

• AUTO:
  The automatic mode will detected the receiver type and choose the right firmware version. This mode is easy and very handy to use but you have to know the correct placement of the update cable plugs, and you can`t choose the firmware version. It will always use the latest and radio corresponding firmware version.
• Direct selection of the receiver type:
  Here you select the receiver type and also you can choose the firmware version by your own and the step by step wizard will also show you exactly where you have to place which cable. If you don`t select a firmware version the latest and radio corresponding will be used.

The menu screen shows some options:

• Receiver type here you can choose if you want to start the "Auto" automatic mode or if you want to select a specific receiver type (except Gizmo).
• Version Only if you selected the receiver type yourself you can tab and select the firmware version which you want to use. Please consider that you can select the firmware versions which are stored at the internal "rx-fw" folder directly. Or if you tab on "Browse" you can browse the internal SD card and choose a file. We recommend that you copy all additional firmware versions to the internal "rx-fw" folder.
• File here you see the selected file name. If you are using the automatic receiver selection mode you will not see the file name here because the system will always selected the latest version automatically.
